About The Cold River Radio Band
Our Story
The Cold River Radio Band was formed by Jonathan Sarty in 2011 as the house band for the New England based Cold River Radio Show, enjoyed by its many fans on FM Radio and in live performances throughout the North East for more than 14 years. In addition to working with Jonathan Sarty performing a curated catalog of Classics from the Great American Songbook, the band has supported such artists appearing on the show as Jonathan Edwards, Jon Pousette-Dart, Duke Robillard, John Gorka, and many more. Over the years the band formed their signature "Little Big Band" sound, a perfect combination along with Jonathan Sarty's distinctly robust and smooth vocal delivery. Jonathan Sarty and the Cold River Radio Band have performed shows throughout New England from the Von Trapp Lodge in Stow, VT. to the exclusive Dunes Club in Narragansett, RI, and in theatres and clubs throughout Maine and New Hampshire.
